Terms of Service

The rules for using Eureka, including how login works, how we handle bank connections, and what to expect from AI-powered insights.

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

  • By accessing the app or completing the login dialog, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
  • You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts in your jurisdiction.

2. Account, Login, and Security

  • Use accurate registration details. Keep login factors (OTP codes, device access) confidential.
  • We may use multi-factor checks, device signals, and risk scoring to protect accounts.
  • Notify us immediately about suspected unauthorized access. We may suspend activity while investigating.

3. Bank Connections and Transactions

  • When you connect a bank, you authorize us and our banking/aggregator partners to access balances, identifiers, and transaction data as permitted by your consent.
  • You authorize us to transmit your instructions (e.g., transfers, bill payments) to payment partners and supported banks.
  • Transaction limits, fees, and processing times may vary by bank and partner. Some transactions may be delayed, reversed, or declined by partners.

4. AI-Powered Insights

  • AI outputs are for informational purposes only and are not financial, legal, investment, or tax advice.
  • You remain responsible for decisions made using AI suggestions. Validate critical information before acting.

5. Beta and Availability

  • Features may launch in beta. We may modify, pause, or discontinue features without notice.
  • Service availability depends on network, device, and partner uptime. Downtime may occur.

6. Fees

  • We will disclose applicable fees before you confirm a transaction. Partner or bank fees may also apply.
  • Taxes, FX spreads, or third-party charges may be passed through where relevant.

7. Acceptable Use

  • Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with security controls.
  • No use for unlawful, fraudulent, or sanction-violating activity. We may monitor and block suspicious behavior.

8. Privacy

  • Your use is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we process it.
  • By proceeding with login or connecting banks, you consent to the described data uses and transfers.

9. Third-Party Services

  • Links or integrations with banks, wallets, billers, or messaging apps are provided for convenience. Their terms and policies apply.
  • We are not responsible for third-party failures, delays, or content.

10. Disclaimers

  • Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties, except as required by law.
  • We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation, or the accuracy of AI outputs.

11. Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability for claims arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid in the prior 3 months or the equivalent of 100 USD, unless law requires more.

12. Indemnity

  • You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these Terms.

13. Suspension and Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate access for security, legal, or policy reasons, including fraud risk or non-compliance.
  • You may stop using the service at any time; certain obligations (e.g., fees, lawful requests) survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
  • Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State unless another forum is required by law.

15. Changes

  • We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
